MTi Group BlastBagTM plugs have transformed their look and simultaneously the market to facilitate the first ever single hand deployable, dual speed BlastBagTM. The fully patented latch is the first of its kind and works in all temperatures from extreme heat to extreme cold. No other bag on the market has rivaled the usability and reliability of the NEW Solo BlastBag from the MTi.
 

BLASTBAGTM SOLO HERO is the industry standard blast hole plug. It consists of an aerosol can which contains non-flammable, non-toxic gas. The aerosol can features a patented two-speed inflation mechanism to allow for fast or slow inflation. The aerosol can is inside two independently sealed gas tight bladders, designed to ensure the bags never leak or fail. This is all contained within a high visibility outer scuff bag which protects the whole arrangement from damage. This makes the BLASTBAGTM HERO the best product for quick and safe hole plugging, void management, decking or creating permanent barriers in blast holes.

BLASTBAGTM SOLO HERO is available for all hole sizes from 76 mm through to 311 mm. The BLASTBAGTM SOLO HERO features a twospeed actuator, allowing you to choose the inflation time appropriate for your application. After depressing the actuator to begin inflation the BLASTBAGTM SOLO HERO is lowered to the required depth in a hole. Once it grips the side of the wall give the tether a firm pull upward, and the hang tab will snap. This ensures a fast and easy turnaround for hole sealing regardless of the situation.

Storage: BLASTBAG™ SOLO HERO should be stored as per dangerous goods legislation in line with UN Global Harmonised Scheme (GHS) regulations. BLASTBAG™ HERO is a Class 9 ‘Dangerous Goods in Apparatus’ for purposes of road/rail freight. Do not store above 50° C. Do not store in sunlight. Keep BLASTBAG™ HERO in box until ready for use. Keep in well ventilated space.

Advantages
 
Todays gasbags have two things in common; they all have a similar style of latch and they ALL can have reliability issues in hot weather. The Solo BlastBag from MTI Group however is different as it utilizes a first in aerosol latching technology. The latch has a horizontal plunge mechanism with a dual orifice trigger indent. This means that there is no deformation on the latch and therefore at different temperatures the activation force for latching is consistent. Gone are the days where caps fall off cans, dont latch, discharge at different rates and snap. These problems of the past are addressed with the Solo BlastBag.

Not only do the bags always latch, but before latching, you are able to choose your inflation speed. This allows you to consolidate your inventories by not having to carry a fast and a slow product line. The Solo BlastBag does this all in one.

As the name suggests Solo highlights the ability to use the product with one hand, this is particularly advantageous when splash bagging or capping - a huge advantage to anybody in the field.

The high visibility top allows users to easily identify bags located in the collar when plugging for vehicle access - an idea from a Shotfirer for shotfirers. This revolutionary product enhancement has also increased the strength of the bag by 40%.

The NEW product branding also displays all relevant information pertaining to use and safety clearly on the bag in accordance with the relevant Standards. Each bag is clearly marked with its designated hole size. Again, MTi Group are the pioneers of these product improvements set to make the life of a shot firer infinitely easier.

The Solo BlastBag range utilizes a completely non flammable CFC-free propellent (R134a) that has insignificant ozone-depleting characteristics. R134a is the propellant of choice for products that must be completely non-flammable.
