DRILLING record in real time (vs depth) the following parameters :
- Instantaneous Advance Speed (IAS) or Rate of Penetration (ROP);
- 1 to 4 hydraulic pressures to choose among the Tool Pressure (TP), Torque Pressure (TQ), Injection Pressure of the drilling fluid (IP), Holback Pressure (HP);
- Rotation Speed (Bit RPM) of the drilling bit;
- Energy Reflected (RE) by the drill string (Vibralim patent);
- Instantaneous Flow (Q) and Volume (VOL) of the drilling fluid
- Any other parameter vs depth. With the CAN-BUS technology an unlimited number of sensors can be connected.
The MiniLIM 5G DRILL & BLAST are specially designed to be installed on drill & blast production drills, they have the following functions :
- Before drilling, 2D drill mast positioning assistance by displaying the X, Y angles;
- Before drilling, in case of inclined holes for drills with articulated boom, 3D (compensated 2D) drill mast possitionning assistance by displaying the X, Y azimuth compensated angles. The reference azimuth is determined either by a simple optical aiming (operator in the cab) or by a GPS receiver antenna mounted on top of the drill mast, innovative technology which ensures an optimal accuracy;
- Before drilling, Laser beam option to get an absolute reference altitude (Z);
- During drilling, display and acquisition of drilling parameters, drilling Depth, Depth of the drilling bit (distance to the bottom), Instantaneous drilling speed, Bit or Tool Pressure (TP), Air Pressure (AP), Torque (TQ), Rotation Speed (Bit RPM) and any other parameter vs depth;
- Current & previous shift production statistics display and storage : average drilling speed (instantaneous and commercial), drilling times, number of drilled holes, accumulated depths, number of rods, ...
The INCLINO option displays before drilling in real time , the 2 angles (X,Y) of the drill mast and so helps to the positionning (2D and 3D).
The data recorded and stored are transferred via internet (LIM@Mail) or USB synchronized. Then data are processed by the LIMSoft , GEO-LOG 3 or GEO-LOG 4 software.
