Ballistic and kinetic breaching methods are widely used and highly effective in real-world operations. While our training door systems support these techniques, we developed the Ballistic Door Armor to provide faster reset times and higher repetition capacity for ballistic training evolutions.
The Ballistic Door Armor is a modified version of our standard Door Armor, purpose-built for ballistic and kinetic entry applications. Precision laser-cut from maximum tensile strength performance steel—engineered to be three times stronger than mild grade steel—this system is built to withstand repeated impact without compromising structural integrity.
Designed as two mirrored steel plates, the Ballistic Door Armor mounts securely to both sides of a real door. On the locking side, a precision cutout window allows for the insertion of pre-cut 2” x 6” lumber, creating a replaceable target medium that enables rapid turnover between training iterations.
