GENERAL INFORMATION
The REO ET175-10, ET225-10 and ET500-10 Energy Testers provide nominal test values of energy output (measured in percentage of rated energy) for each of the 10 circuits of REO Sequential Blasting Machines listed in the table below. A light Emitting Diode (LED) bar graph display allows the user to view the energy output of the REO Blasting Machine under test.
OPERATION
To test REO Sequential Blasting Machines using the ET175-10 or ET225-10 Energy Tester, connect the blasting machine to the tester using the EC15-2 Connecting Cable. Perform the self test function. Charge and fire the sequential blasting machine into the tester. The tester will turn on automatically and the FIRED light will come on if energy is present on any circuit. Rotate the CIRCUIT switch on the tester to each of the 10 circuits, noting the PERCENT OF RATED ENERGY indicated on the bar graph. The tester will shut off automatically after approximately thirty seconds.
SELF TESTING
The ET175-10 and ET225-10 perform an accuracy check and battery check of the tester when the TEST switch is held down and the CIRCUIT switch is rotated to each of the ten circuits. Illumination of the BAT OK and CAL OK LED bars indicates proper operation of the tester.
