Seamlessly record vibration and sound/noise or air overpressure with one monitoring unit. The Micromate has 4 available channels: 3 for a triaxial geophone and 1 for an air over pressure or sound level microphone. Designed to meet industry standards like the International Society of Explosive Engineers (ISEE, 2011), DIN 45669-1, Swedish blasting (SS4604866) and Swedish pile driving (SS025211), you can be sure to get accurate readings every time! Connect powered USB hubs, printers, memory sticks, modems or a GPS. The Micromate will automatically detect connected devices in much the same manner that you are accustomed to with your computer. Choose the optional auxiliary port and get additional support for remote alarms, external wire triggers and more! With the Micromate, the possibilities are endless.

The Micromate is built to last. The main unit comes with a fully sealed top panel. The non-corrosive fully sealed industrial grade connectors are labeled and color coded for easy identification and installation. Custom molded housings for the base unit are made of superior impact polycarbonate. An optional protective “boot” provides the highest level of durability and ruggedness available in Instantel’s product line. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 55°C (-40°F to 131°F). Reliability is at the core of everything Instantel makes!

A complete remote monitoring solution with support for Instantel’s Auto Call Home™, THOR™ and Vision™ programs

Recorded events can be retrieved with a USB memory stick (no PC required) or using a modem and Instantel’s proprietary Auto Call Home feature. With Auto Call Home you can automatically send an event to your computer every time an event is received. Add in THOR, Instantel’s desktop software solution, and automatically get notifications when you want them!
