Shipping Policy

Quick links and detailed shipping terms for commercial customers, contractors, and government agencies.

Domestic Shipping

Freight Terms

Freight is FOB Origin - Prepaid & Add. This means that your actual shipping fees will be added to your order total.

Shipping Time

Most orders received before 3:00PM will ship the same day, provided the product ordered is in stock. Most orders received after 3:00 PM will ship the next business day. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.

Shipping Methods

We ship via UPS, USPS, and ODFL (Old Dominion Freight Line) within the USA.

For shipments via LTL freight, an extra fee is added by the carrier for limited access or gated, appointment or liftgate deliveries. Letting us know of any delivery requirements at time of order will prevent charges after delivery.

LTL Freight Shipments: If the LTL company charges an additional accessorial delivery fee, this fee will be charged to your original payment method for this order.

We do not ship via FedEx.

Shipping Restrictions

Some products may have shipping restrictions due to size, weight, or regulations.

We may be unable to ship certain items to:

  • P.O. Boxes (especially large items)

  • Some military or overseas destinations (depending on product type)

  • Product regulations

If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email (when available).

If you did not receive tracking or need help locating it, contact our support team and we’ll assist.

Individuals & Personal Purchases

For individuals/personal purchases, we are only able to ship to the billing address on your credit card.

APO/FPO/DPO Military & Diplomatic Addresses

We ship via USPS to military and diplomatic addresses.

Make sure you include the unit and box numbers, for APO/FPO/DPO shipping addresses (if assigned). To prevent mail from entering foreign mail networks, do not include city or country names in APO/FPO/DPO shipping addresses.

Collect Shipping (Domestic)

We can ship collect using your UPS account number for orders shipping within the United States of America. Please select Collect Shipping during checkout and provide your collect account number. You will be responsible for all fees incurred for shipping your order.

Should your account number be rejected, incorrect or charged back to our account, we will charge your payment method for this amount along with chargeback fees.

We do not ship via FedEx.

Transit Time

Delivery times vary by location and carrier.

Typical transit times (after shipment):

  • Ground shipping: 1–5 business days

  • Expedited shipping: 1–3 business days

  • Freight (LTL): 3–10 business days

These are estimates only. Weather, carrier delays, holidays, and remote locations can extend delivery times.

Any shipping or transit time offered by Ideal Supply Inc. or other parties is an estimate only.

Customers are encouraged to order in a timely manner to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

Please inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve this issue or send replacements of damaged or lost items.

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Take photos of the box and the damaged product

  • Keep all packaging materials

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you didn’t receive it:

  • Check around your delivery area and with neighbors

  • Contact us as soon as possible so we can assist with a carrier trace

Carrier claims may require documentation and have time limits, so reporting quickly matters.

Freight (LTL) Shipments:

Please report damage immediately with the carrier prior to signing for the shipment and do not discard damaged shipments. Note any damage or missing items on the Bill of Lading before you sign for delivery.

Backorders

In the rare circumstance that an item is out of stock, we can hold the order and ship complete or ship it as available.

If an item is out of stock or delayed:

  • We may ship available items first and send backordered items later (with additional shipping fees)

  • In some cases, your order may ship in multiple packages

  • If delays occur, we’ll provide updates when possible

If you prefer to hold your order until everything is available, just let us know during checkout to ship your order complete.

International Orders - FOB Origin Prepaid & Add Incoterms

We ship internationally when possible. International shipments may require additional processing time and documentation.

International customers are responsible for:

  • Duties, taxes, and customs fees

  • Import regulations and restrictions

  • Any delays caused by customs clearance

We do not control customs processing times and cannot guarantee delivery dates for international shipments.

The recipient is responsible for customs duties and taxes. Duties and taxes on shipments are legal requirements that must be settled before your shipment can be delivered.

If an export license is required, this will delay your shipment 2-16 weeks, and is determined by the US Department of Commerce. You may be required to complete additional paperwork such as an End User Certificate.

It is the buyer's responsibility to know the buyer's country guidelines before making a purchase. We are not responsible for any returns, seizures or delayed services.

Export Administration Regulations (EAR) & ITAR

EXPORT ADMINISTRATION REGULATIONS (EAR) & INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC IN ARMS REGULATIONS (ITAR): THESE ITEMS ARE CONTROLLED BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT AND AUTHORIZED FOR EXPORT ONLY TO THE COUNTRY OF ULTIMATE DESTINATION FOR USE BY THE ULTIMATE CONSIGNEE OR END-USER(S) HEREIN IDENTIFIED. THEY MAY NOT BE RESOLD, TRANSFERRED, OR OTHERWISE DISPOSED OF, TO ANY OTHER COUNTRY OR TO ANY PERSON OTHER THAN THE AUTHORIZED ULTIMATE CONSIGNEE OR END-USER(S), EITHER IN THEIR ORIGINAL FORM OR AFTER BEING INCORPORATED INTO OTHER ITEMS, WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING APPROVAL FROM THE U.S. GOVERNMENT OR AS OTHERWISE AUTHORIZED BY U.S. LAW AND REGULATIONS.

The purchaser is solely responsible for obtaining any required export licenses for the export or reexport of the items and for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and administrative policies. The purchaser must also ensure that products are not transferred to any individuals or entities listed on the Debarred Parties List, Denied Persons List, Specially Designated Nationals List, Entity List, or Nonproliferation Sanctions List, nor sold or transferred to any embargoed countries. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to review and stay informed of these lists.

Shipping Methods (International)

We ship via UPS and USPS internationally. ODFL can be used to ship to Canada & Mexico.

We do not ship via FedEx or DHL.

Ex-Works Incoterms (EXW)

  • You, as the buyer, arrange the pickup of the freight from our designated ship site, own the in-transit freight, and are responsible for clearing the goods through Customs. You, as the buyer, are also responsible for completing all the export documentation required.
  • We, as the seller, will email you the box weight and dimensions when your order is ready for pickup along with the pickup address.

We will be unable to ship collect on your carrier’s account (e.g.- UPS account). Ex-Works Incoterms requires you to arrange all shipment, export and delivery details.

International Orders Ex-Works Incoterms are available for orders that ship outside of the United States of America.

"ExWorks (EXW): the seller fulfills his obligations by having the goods available for the buyer to pick up at his premises or another named place (i.e. factory, warehouse, etc.). Buyer bears all risk and costs starting when he picks up the products at the seller’s location until the products are delivered to his location. Buyer is responsible for filing necessary applications and paperwork for export with the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Incorrect Address / Undeliverable Packages

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • Reshipping costs may apply

  • Refunds may be reduced by carrier charges

If you need to update your address after ordering, contact us immediately. Address changes may not be possible after shipment.
